New sound technology in Viswaroobam

The film Viswaroobam which has Kamal in the lead role is also directing this film. The release of this film has been postponed to January 2013. Kamal through the film Kuruthipunal introduced the Dolby Sound Technology in Tamil.

The highest budgeted film Viswaroobam ever to be produced in India is being released by PVP Cinemas. It was earlier announced that this film will hit the screens on 12th October. Surya starrer Maatran was also supposed to be released on the same date.

At this juncture, the release of Viswaroobam has been postponed to January 2013. Kamal has introduced Auro 3D Sound Technology in Viswaroobam. Wilfried Van Baelen has come down to hep Kamal in this technology. So far only one other film George Lucas’s latest Red Tails has made use of the Auro 3D technique.

Kamal has chosen this technology because his film has a lot of overhead fighter planes and other sound-driven visuals. Sources also say that Kamal Haasan is in talks with various theatre managements in Chennai to convert to Auro 3D sound.
